🔬 About the Lab
Wireless Information and Intelligence Laboratory (WIIL) is a joint research group at HUFS, co-directed by Prof. Jung Hoon Lee (이정훈) and Prof. Kyungrak Son (손경락). We study the theory and systems behind next-generation wireless communications and information processing — spanning wireless communications, coding & information theory, signal processing, and machine learning. Our flagship thrusts include LEO satellite communications, coded/distributed computing for edge AI, and physical-layer security. Both PIs earned their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at KAIST, giving the group a shared foundation in communication theory and a complementary reach from device-level systems to information-theoretic algorithm design.
